Traditional Rutenfest 2023
21.07 to 25.07.23
The traditional festival delights the hearts of visitors from near and far with its drumming and playing groups.
Ravensburg’s Rutenfest is an event steeped in tradition that brings the city life every July. It is one of the oldest and largest city festivals in southern Germany and attracts visitors from near and far. The festival has a long history back to the 19th century and has become an important part of Ravensburg’s culture and identity.
During the Rutenfest, the town is transformed into a colourful festival area full of joy, music and happy people. The highlights of the festival are the festive parades, during which magnificently decorated floats parade through the streets, delighting thousands of visitors. The various associations and groups proudly present their creative contributions and create a unique atmosphere. The parades are accompanied by traditional music, dancing and joyful cheering that fills the entire city.
