A new star shines over Ravensburg.
With great pleasure and deep gratitude, we are able to share some extraordinary news with you today:
The Kaisersaal has been awarded a MICHELIN star! The renowned MICHELIN Guide has awarded the Kaisersaal restaurant in the Hotel Kaiserhof Ravensburg a Michelin star – a milestone for our establishment and the entire region. It is the first MICHELIN star in Ravensburg for 20 years. Our head chef Kevin Leitner, who has been shaping the Kaisersaal since March 2024 after stints in Berlin, Munich and on Lake Constance, pursues a clear culinary vision with his team: contemporary French cuisine, creatively interpreted, precisely crafted and supported by a great love of products.
These successes fill us with great joy and pride – they are a sign of our dedicated team, our passion for quality and the support of our great guests.
A star is born.
“This award is the result of our shared passion for cuisine with character and depth. A MICHELIN star is never the achievement of an individual – it stands for our entire team,” comments Kevin Leitner. Owner Hermann Müller also emphasizes the importance of the recognition: “The star is not just a tribute to our work – it shows that top cuisine can also be at home in Upper Swabia.”
A grand vision that started small
The Michelin Guide is the most important restaurant guide in the world. Michelin stars are awarded anonymously and independently – they stand for excellent cuisine, a clear signature and sustainable quality. A star means:
“A cuisine full of finesse – worth a stop.”
